Information:
This is a little project I've been working on for the past couple days. It is an all-in-one solution to setting up a basic Minecraft server. You can set up most of the features of your server via a graphical interface which lays out all of your options out at once.
The files being downloaded are not hosted from me. The vanilla server file is grabbed from Mojang directly (via their link on Minecraft.net), the various Bukkit server files are grabbed from dl.bukkit.org and the plugin files are grabbed from dev.bukkit.org.
If you are a bit paranoid about downloading programs from strangers on the internet, here is the VT scan for this program: https://www.virustot...sis/1355013955/
This program should be able to run on Linux using Mono, but it is untested at this time. If you do try, make sure you are running the latest version of Mono.
How to Use:
Simply place the downloaded file into the folder you would like to run your server from. Then run the program, choose which server software you would like to use, which plugins you would like (if using Bukkit), and then set the server options. Once you are finished with all of that, hit the "Make My Server" button and let the program work its magic.
Misc:
Feel free to offer suggestions on features that can be added to this program or offer suggestions on how the GUI can be improved (developing GUI is something I loathe btw...)
Nice little tool, good job jefe!
A small suggestion though, maybe you can add like some text when you hover over for example a plugin, that explains what it does, etc?
And maybe add an option for a folder to install it to.
Is it possible to make the server a feed the beast server?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll make some descriptions on the plugins and the more non-intuitive settings.
Haha, that's so funny! But in a good way. That might be useful considering I have a computer with 32 gigs of ram and am considering moving my server from a host to my own computer.

Requirements:
This program requires .NET Framework 4.0, if you don't have it already, you can grab it from here: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=17851

I can see about including it in the next release
I'd only suggest tooltips to say what some of those things are as well as reporting back IPs:ports (for the terribly lame at tech).
That and include a few more "common" plugins like Vault/Iconomy, logblock (and possibly MSSQL stuff?) anti-cheat.
As is, a tremendous headache removed from 13 year olds with desktop PCs and a ethernetport trying to be the next great donation magnet.
Great for people who don't understand setting up a server manually, like most of us all did.
I wish you luck on your project!
Not really sure, it might be because it downloads files from the internet
I'm afraid not as that is the core concept behind the program. You should be able to flag the program is safe in your antivirus program though
Google "What is my Ip Address" The IP that come's up is your server's IP.
