Sorry, I didn't get back until now. I really don't like herochat, I recommend mChat. It even offers a built in censor and it's very easy to use. If you use mChat, the first thing in the config is the format. You want to set this to:
format:
chat: '+p+dn&f:+s +m'
Once that is done, you can just set the suffix to the color code that you want the group's words to be. For example, if you're using PEX, and you wanted the owner's chat color to be light green, you would do this:
You can find a full list of color codes HERE.
Also, make sure that ChatManager is disabled if you are using it with PEX!
I guess it's not handling where I put spaces in the configurations. You should still get the gist of it.
P.S.
I may have gotten something wrong, I don't use PEX often. If I did, feel free to correct me. Thanks!
I hope this helps!
Hey! Where do we enter this stuff? I downloaded the file and all it gave me was a .jar file called mChat
Edit: Nevermind, I just got PEX Instead and figured out stuff, Now, I put myself in the admin group, it says im in it, but when I do /pex groups it shows admin has no users in it, And I don't have a prefix when I chat either.
I am trying to figure this out aswell
