Here is how you can have different groups have different color text:
1. Set your chat formating plugin so that it will be "prefix name: suffix message"
2. In PermissionsEX, you can set prefix to what you want their title to be and suffix to the color code that you want their message to be.

Sorry, I didn't get back until now. I really don't like herochat, I recommend mChat. It even offers a built in censor and it's very easy to use. If you use mChat, the first thing in the config is the format. You want to set this to:
format:
chat: '+p+dn&f:+s +m'
Once that is done, you can just set the suffix to the color code that you want the group's words to be. For example, if you're using PEX, and you wanted the owner's chat color to be light green, you would do this:
Best Way is to look into the Essentials Chat Plugin (The Normal Essentials Config and than scroll ... scroll) Than you see a commended line where you can set all colors for the specific groups.

Thanks it worked for me!
And Cdude21, if you have ChatManager or something I think you should get rid of it, because all you need is basically PermissionsEX. Just go on your server and type this in:
/pex group yourgroupname suffix yourcolourcode
So for example:
/pex group default suffix &a
Then the group members should have their chat colour.
Does anybody know how I can set a specific group to chat in a certain color?
Example:
[Admin] Cdude: (Dark Red Text)
Plugins I have that might help with this:
PermissionsEx
Essentials
Essentials Chat
HeroChat
Also does anyone know where I can get the HeroChat plugin for bukkit 1.3.1 or 1.3.2?Thank you jakeob22 for the link to HeroChat.
My permissions.yml file for PermissionsEX:
admin:
prefix: ' &4[Admin] &4'
suffix: '&4'
permissions:
- permissions.*
- modifyworld.*
- nametags.color.dark_red
- nametags.reload
- essentials.nick
inheritance:
- default
- moderator
- coadmin
options:
rank: '1'
message-format: ''

You can find a full list of color codes HERE.
Also, make sure that ChatManager is disabled if you are using it with PEX!
I guess it's not handling where I put spaces in the configurations. You should still get the gist of it.
P.S.
I may have gotten something wrong, I don't use PEX often. If I did, feel free to correct me. Thanks!
I hope this helps!
