I have a big problem, I'm trying to port forward my IP Address. But when I type in the Default Gateway into Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox, it doesn't do anything. I even tried the Default Gateway with the Static IP, but it's still not working. Help!?
Maybe you're one of the lucky people without a router?
Your gateway IP should begin with 192.168. or 10. and ends with .1. For example, 192.168.1.1 .
If it begins with 5., that's a Hamachi only IP.

I have a NETGEAR router, and the gateway IP does start with 192.168.x.x, and I'm avoiding using Hamachi thank you very much xD
i've never used hamachi, or plan to, so i dunno if this would matter, but maybe uninstall it from your system, maybe its causing an issue with your browsers and is stopping you from getting to the router.
and yes 192.168.1.1 is the right ip according to the data you posted above
Ugh, it still won't open up. This is really getting on my nerves, I've tried resetting the router's settings, I've tried rebooting the router, I've tried using Static IP, I've tried with every browser I can freaking find, and I've tried all that without Hamachi .-.

My Linksys router does not allow access to it over Wi-Fi; it prints out an error message when you try. Try connecting to the router with a cable?
Okay I tried everything listed in this topic. I even connected my HP pavilion laptop to my router via Ethernet cable and nada. "oops google chrome could not connect to 192.168.0.1" (I did try internet explorer too) I even did ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew (I have windows 8 if that makes any difference)
Just the other day I was on it and I was using Wi-Fi while I was researching how to start my own server and now it wont connect. Every time I had tried to modify the settings of my Ubee router it disconnected me from the internet. I figured it was my new laptop (6 GB with a quad core A-8 AMD processor) I wanted to use my desktop as the server since that has 8 GM of RAM and that one also will not connect to the router. I did also try internet explorer (I refuse to download firefox) Also, I did try to restart my computer... twice. Do I need a new wireless internet router?
idk, cuz i havent administrated a bukkit server in a whiletry using your ipv4 address
I did open ipconfig and I did type in my default gateway AND my IPv4, it's still doesn't work...

http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 should work; I really have no idea of why this happens.
