im 13 and i know coding if i can do it then you can it took me a while but its worth it take the time to learn don't try to get others to do it i wouldn't expect you to do my work so u shouldn't either

can someone plz make a permisions yaml for me and they can be admin on my server.

And if you could I'm having trouble port forwarding my server on a 'Thompson Alcatel TG782T and i don't know what to do...

I just dealt with this a few moments ago, so I'm just literally going to copy/paste my previous post:

I understand that setting up permissions is a daunting task at best, and I'm all for helping the n00bies out when they need it, but something you need to understand about permissions is that they are so instance-specific, not knowing how/being to lazy to set them up yourself is a mistake. What if you need something changed? What if you add a new plugin? You really want to have to rely on someone else to do this for you every time?

A server admin that users are proud of, and a server admin that users trust and respect is a server admin that users know puts time into his work. He thinks about things before he does them, he takes charge of situations and he does not rely on someone else to configure his permissions for him.

I really just isn't that hard to do. Use Google, and YouTube. God gave us those sites so that we would never have an excuse not to know something.

Dont worry about it man, just keep googling stuff and eventually it will all fall together. Look at all these people who gave you advice who could write one from scratch in 3 minutes. They all started out in the same spot as you. Frusterated, Annoyed, and Feeling A Bit crazy. But they stuck with it, and they are pro now. Keep that head up . You Got This!

Here, I had this saved up on my computer, it's a premade essentials perm file.

This will give users the basic permissions, and will get you started. You're welcome to change the names of the ranks and the colors, this is just what I use.

I hope this helped, and best of luck to your server.

P.s to everyone goin' at the OP, relax. He just wants help. He didn't exactly ask for it in the nicest way, but the responses he got were not very constructive.

EDIT:

I didn't notice you didn't have essentials, so, what you'll want to do is delete all of the nodes
Ie
- essentials.ban
and replace them with the proper nodes for the according plugin. Which you can find by googling
"(Plugin) permission nodes"

Lol, I'm having same problem. But I'm not begging and whining to others. Simply look at outlines these people are giving you, trying to help and go from there. If you don't accept that not everything is so easy, then just don't make a server because your obviously not committed.

I know this post is 3498534589034 years old, but thnak you for posting this. it's all i needed to get started on learning this stuff.

I'm not very good at starting this stuff out as scratch, so i was literally posting for help in the same way. Just a starting file in which i can learn the template and how to add stuff to it. And now that I've found this, I can.

I can help yah get Permissionsex, then just type pex group (Name) create
Then, pex group (name) prefix &a[GreenPrefix] and pex group (name) add (Perm)

just to throw it out there the owner of skyblock.us is 13 and I run a public server and im 13. use groupmanager it will be easier
