Well, I'm annoyed. It seems like the bukkit server folder was deleted because the "delete button" on the mac was pressed accidentally by me or someone. Before doing anything, I thought that it was in the trash. So I searched for it in the spotlight and nothing came up. So I stopped the server, and a new bukkit server file regenerated but the only folder I saw was "plugins." I really don't want to start from square one, so is there anything I could do to get the same bukkit server folder back with the same world and folders?
I'd recommend the plugin "Backup" in future, backs up all everything into zip folders
You can also manually back it up by simply by "copy and paste" This is my preferred method, I copy the entirety of my server folder (plugins included) into a seperate folder. This has saved my ass so many times. The power ever goes out while my server is running it will break it. Which has happened alot over these winter months.

yeah, I had backups (worldsaver), but it was in my bukkit server folder. I never planned for something like this, so I never copied my folder. Also, the recovery file doesn't have anything in it. Any other Help?
know i dont have a mac but usually when u press the delete button for files the are wiped of the harddrive and u have to either download or make them again
THANK YOU SO MUCH I GOT IT!!!!! BUT now, when I try to start up the server it says can't access the craftbukkit file on the terminal.

Then that's why the script doesn't recognise the file, it doesn't exist. You need to rename either the jar in the script or the jar in the folder to match the other.
I changed my file to CraftBukkit.jar to match the script, but it still says the same thing. I heard about something with the launch.bat. Is there something wrong there?
This could work so long as no new data has overwritten any of the old blocks on the hard disk in the meantime.
Bit of a computer joke:-
'They say "Jesus saves" but; does he perform regular incremental backups?'
Ill check. Thanks
Look for Data rescue. It costs not much, and can do almost everything.
