I started a minecraft server for me and my freind a while back, and it was working great until about a week ago. Now, whenever I try to login to the server it reads: Internal exception java.net.sockettimeoutexception read timed out.
Does anyone know what the heck this means?! I've tried updating the driver, updating the server, and redownloading minecraft server.exe. I've read tons of posts and sites on how to fix it and none of them worked. I don't know a bunch on minecraft servers, and I've run out of ideas. I am open to any suggestions. I'm using Windows 7 and I'm the server host.

Welcome to forums, first of all.
Now, are you using hamachi? Do you or your friend/or both have the cracked version or legit ?
Did you check your port-forwarding?(if you are not using hamachi)If you do not know what that is, google it.
No i'm not using hamachi, and me and my friend both have legit versions of minecraft. Now I looked into port-forwarding
but I didn't realy know how to do it.
