I need a better guide on how to increase the amount of RAM my server can use. For some reason it seems to be capping out at 200mb, when it has another 1800 Mb available. I know there is a warning message that even says what to do, but being blatently honest I don't understand it at all.
Is there a step-by-step process for upping the RAM a server uses or can anyone give me a few pointers?
Yes simply create the .bat file with the proper start command and you can start your server by executing the file. Please refer to the URL that rch has kindly provided.

Just for reference, I'm using bukkit, and I don't think It has the run_server file I'm being told to run.. I've made the batch file and everything, but when I try run it, it fails. I think I have my system variables set up correctly too.
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
"%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar
PAUSE
Note: If you are running java in 32bit mode on a 64bit machine, change %ProgramFiles% to %ProgramFiles(x86)%
2. Save the document as RUN.bat (not as a .txt)
3. Double Click RUN.bat and you're away!
4. When you're done toying, issue "stop" command in console.
(Note if you want to give the server more RAM change the line "-Xmx1G" to whatever amount of RAM you want assigned e.g -Xmx2G, or -Xmx3G this is going by Gigabytes of ram you could also do -Xmx1024MB, or -Xmx2048MB but its basically the same thing.)
