Like I said a few posts back, day and night is probably clientside only, but I'll try when I get the time. Right now I'm on my own private server mining for a friend who can't find his way around a mine to save his life, but I'll be done soon and I can join :smile.gif:
Thanks! Would you be able to add like a welcome message in the chat bar when people join?
a motd wouldn't be hard at all, and it's a great idea! So yes, definitely.
also @colonel, didn't know you were on wiremod :tongue.gif:
D: I can't connect to your server...
EDIT2: Just noticed the lava question-- unfortunately no, lava's damage is strictly clientside. However I would be able to stop the flow of lava or just make it unable to be poured from buckets.
Stopping the flow of lava would be perfect. People hack lava into their inventories and pour it down mountains, and because the lava physics are currently broken, the only way to fix it is to pour water down and turn it into cobblestone.
There probably is, I just haven't found it yet. This is a clientside bug, and it's likely that notch will have fixed it before I can find a hack to stop it. Also, it doesn't have to be UNDER the furnace, it can be directly on top too (you can use a backboard of sorts, since you can't click on the top of the furnace)
I just released a version of my wrapper that plays nicely with this server mod.
My server is running both right now. :smile.gif:
Thanks much for this, Czahrien! These 2 wrappers work nicely together.
I have a few suggestions for the next version(s):
- Disable the use of lava, water and adminium tiles.
- Disable the spawning of material blocks (diamond brick, gold, steel)

Are you going to be making stationary lava? Because currently people are using buckets of lava to grief the hell out of everything.
- Nerf lava buckets?
When hacked in, the lava/water tiles run for insanely long distances once placed. Adminium tiles are pretty self-explanatory: they cannot be deleted. It also annoys the hell out of me to see someone spawning diamond or gold blocks and [making] a giant tower out of them.
