I have already made a mod of his mod, it only changes out /iron with /furnace, a command that makes a working furnace for users! (I await permission from him to distribute the modified files)
A way to make people admin in-game (or through the server software) would rock.
I'll see about adding it in the server software, but I make no promises, as that requires editing MinecraftServer.java, and I haven't been able to compile it yet.

Hi, i've a problem.
I've traduce all of that mod in french, but when i want to compile it in .class, the compiler tell me there is some errors.
Can you tell me why?
Please ?
All you're saying is that "I'm getting an error!". Not very helpful, you haven't posted what errors you are getting, etc.

I've been running this thing for about 6 hours now with no problems at all. Thanks a ton hey0, this is best thing to happen to SMP so far. Everyone on the server is really impressed with it.
If you're having trouble, make sure you're using .jar server, not the exe. Drop the class files into the .jar with winrar, and either run it from the command line or make a txt file and paste this into it
Then save it as run.bat in the same folder as the .jar. If the command prompt opens and then closes immediately, chances are you don't have your PATH environment variable set up correctly for java. Google it.
If that isn't simple enough, you may want to go back to the .exe server.

I love it. I have a million suggestions for improvements and features. But for now, I'll say one thing:
Can you make it so that no one can use the /away command? It never works right, and it crashes the server about 95% of the time. Thus it is dangerous and should not be in the server.
Oh, also, I get an ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception in ec's constructor if I don't specify an IP. I'd like the option to be able to use a wildcard by just listing the user. This would also allow me to use other server mods that use only usernames. That or a more specific filename would be good.
i also removed all fire from the game. so flint and steel, and fire blocks. is there any way that i need to punctuate the server.properties when i do that?

Whenever i try to run my server without this, it runs fine. i do the instructions on page 3, it spawns me on nothing and i just fall endlessly until i die. any ideas?
how do i add blocks to the blacklist? i tried adding the block/item id's, and seperating them with a space, but it wouldnt load the map when i did. am i doing it wrong?

Quite of few new commands since I slept. Excellent.
A Few things.
1. First time I used /away it took me to where I believe was under the map, I started taking damage and died. I respawned and type /home then the whole server crashed.
2. As for the reserved slots option. When you choose how many reserved slots there are, it this out of the total player cap? Say for example, I want 2 reserved slots and my max player limit is 12. Is the 2 reserved slots on top of the 12? Or is there a 10 player limit with 2 reserved spots?
It bans by IP rather than username, since it's pitifully easy to bypass username bans.
Perhaps the player changed their IP or something?
Nope, tested it with friends.
No one will stay banned.
Also I agree with removing the /away command, it crashes the server.
Strange. I'll go and test some more on the /ban command tomorrow.

You should make admin authentication by password. Using IP authentication when you have dynamic ip can be a pain.
I'll add this.

Guyze it's NOT fine, tleast on a mac java engine, also it happens when theres any attempt at connecting to it (written in the first line of the error even duh)
That appears to be entirely irrelevant to this mod

I'll be removing /away, and there is an infinite amount of reserve slots.

Didn't know /away was already in lol.
Also, for reserved slots that isn't what I mean.
Say your player limit is 12 and your reserved slots are set to 2 in the server properties. Could only 10 people connect before hitting the cap or can 12? would there be 2 slots reserved in the 12 player limit or would there be 14 slots (2 reserved)?
Please ?

If I remeber correctly the Admin.txt had something like
#ADmin123:127.0.0.1
What I was doing and seemed to of worked was under that you would add
#Alexbrainbox:127.0.0.1
Alexbrainbox:127.0.0.1
That worked for me. xD
