I went into invisible mode to see if someone would grief when it said I disconnected and when tried to ban them they stayed on. Is this just a bug or did he have some kind of antikick?

Read the readme! it clearly states if you ban them it takes away all building abilites but does not kick them! to kick and ban them you say /kickban [name]
I went into invisible mode to see if someone would grief when it said I disconnected and when tried to ban them they stayed on. Is this just a bug or did he have some kind of antikick?
What's the point of /hide if it didn't lie to players about you leaving the server, it's great when they see a disconnect message and start griefing when your standing next to them still.
k, after leaving my server on all night, my error log is now 48 KB in size, and it had crashed.
Not sure why just yet.
But after starting it again, it doesn't want to open the DNA File, saying:
System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.
at System.IO.__Error.EndOfFile()
at System.IO.BinaryReader.ReadString()
at Minecraft_Server.DNA.OpenDatabase(String filename)
it works by simply holding the maps in memory. When a player uses /goto <map> it will send the map data to the player. The server will then update the TAB list to show only the players on the current map. You can see every player online by using /players
umby24: It may have crashed while updating the file, leaving it in a broken state. We are aware that DNA has some issues, which is why it's not being used by the server yet.

EDIT: Got it fixed, nice, i will now point out glitches
* In water/lava mode if you do /paint it will cancel water mode
*In water/lava mode if you do /cuboid it will cancel water/lava mode
*(obvuis) map generator is like omen, see through sides
*You cant generate a map over 256 wide without server entering never ending lag
*You wont allow us to do HUGE draws (cuboids)
*Most commands are familier commands but with different name (this one annoys me the most)
*no threading
*grass grows even underground
*trees never grow
*any maps you create are public to builder+
*If you rejump server ranks are reset except for uberops (unless u manually put them in the admin .txt)
*at spawn for main you glitch down 1 block
*console can be hard to control
*can slow down your computer majorly
But even with all these glitches this is an amazing client!!!! TY! NO MORE NON STABBLE SERVER AND MAJOR LAG WITH MINRECPP!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! (sorry for trolling )
* Glitches 1 and 2, I have as well. Im not sure what you mean by #3 though
*#4 - Never tryed a map over 256x256x256, but it lagged for about 3 minutes straight when making said map.
*#5 - Yeah.. I tryed this (Using /replace), and it said "Not a good idea"
*#6 - This also annoys me alot ._. Its kinda unfamiliar.
*#7 - It *does* have threading coded in, but its quite minimal, but im sure you would notice it if he hadn't threaded it.
*#8-#9 - Read the second post of this entire thread.
*#10 - Yeah, i would like to suggest the feature of setting who can build on what map, or changing the name of your main map.
#11 - Not sure what your saying :biggrin.gif:
#12 - This happens, just not so often.
#13 - Okay.
#14 - Not for me unless your doing a massive draw/cuboid, or generating a map.
And with that I add my own list of glitches which i have found / Features to suggest
The ability to /bind active water or active lava if your an admin.
(And yes, I know, /activewater and /activelava)
When you use /save to save the map your on, the GUI says map was saved *and backed up*
But it was not backed up. I would like to suggest that it either backs it up upon /save, or a /backup command
* have to go, finish list later*
1-2 were side-effects of making /water, /lava, and /solid cancel each other out
3: he means when you create a map with odd deminsions (100^3 for example) it glitches, this is not because of the generator, this is because of a Minecraft limitation
4: we are aware of this, and will probably be threading the map generator
5: this is for the sake of the players, and to prevent abuse (trust me, you don't want someone cuboiding 1.5mill blocks) Operators have a limit of 800 blocks changed, while SuperOps have a limit of 20,000. I can't remember what the AdvBuilder limit is.
6: Just tell me what commands and I can rename them
7: Window and Server logic run on separate threads, as well as physics (not perfect) and the IRC bot. whenever a packet is received, it is handled in it's own thread.
8-9: Neko pointed this out
10: I'm going to be adding map parameters to the level format, that can be changed via a command
11: Not sure what this means
12: The server explicitly tells the player to spawn 1/2 a block up from the map's spawn point
13: What he means here, is lag (explained in a PM). this shouldn't happen
14: We are aware of this.
now for umby24:
You can bind active water and active lava just use /bind active_water or /bind active_lava
When a map is saved, it also creates a .backup in the same directory. that way if it ever gets corrupted during save, it can load the last successful save. Neko can explain more about this

I'm hoping to abuse mclevel's format to add in custom tags personally.
Maybe even a final [savecomplete] tag which would solve a few rare cases hopefully.

11 means something I've experienced, so I can tell you what it is.
It means that if you're hosting a non-24/7 server, whenever you take it down, the ranks are placed back to guest when you take it back up. The only ranks that stay are the ones added to the ranks-saving file by opening, typing, and saving.
when putting a map in the autoload file it will come with this:

as for the circle command. so far you can only /circle and /circle [blocktype], and it has to be a perfect circle and certain radiuses.
