Tried that as well, but I fixed it by disabling IRC.
Anytime I say something, it sends the message but also displays this error:
"An error occurred: The type initializer for 'Minecraft_Server.IRCBot' threw an exception."
And when I try to do "/color chariot navy" or "/color chariot gold", it tells me "There is no color "chariot navy"" or gold.
Working on pinpointing the IRC failures, as well as that error.
The /color issue was caused by a couple of misnammed variables, use "olive" for gold and "navi" for navy. There was also a confusion with "pink" and "fuchsia"

Hi Ulrich, I'm glad I saw this post. I believe you were the one looking for me on IRC a few days ago but I wasn't around. Do you still have any questions? I'll try to hang around IRC and be available if you do.
McLevel level = new McLevel();
level.LoadFile(@"C:\minecraftlevels\mylevel.mclevel");
// level is now the loaded level from mylevel.mclevel
// This would set the block at x = 1, y = 2, z = 3 to an Air block (0x00)
level.Map.Blocks[1, 2, 3] = (byte) McBlock.Air;
// Sets the block variable to the block value at x = 1, y = 2, z = 3 (Air that was just set)
McBlock block = (McBlock) level.Map.Blocks[1, 2, 3];
If you take a look at Notch's level format at http://www.minecraft.net/docs/levelformat.jsp it may help to understand the structure of the McLevel object since my documentation sucks at the moment. :smile.gif: One thing to keep in mind is that Y is the height value of a level. I guess Notch and a few others mentioned some people getting that confused with Z, so that may be something to check.
Also, I haven't tested modifying a level yet but based on the fact that the library is able to read and write out mclevel files I'm assuming the setter for the Map.Blocks and Map.Data works correctly.
To quote Donald Knuth: "Beware of bugs in the above code; I have only proved it correct, not tried it."
The entities objects are not complete at the moment so moving players and mobs around won't work but I'll put it on my plate to get the LocalPlayer and Mob entities working tomorrow.
Edit: Looking at the code again I think the compiler will require the (byte) and (McBlock) typecast when getting and setting blocks using McBlock.
Hey, when I downloaded this file, my Norton 360 (my Computer Security Suite) Flagged a file in the folder, the scanner named it irc.bot . Now, I suspect this was an error on my scanners part, but I want to make sure that this isn't a virus or bot.

Neko and I can personally guarantee that there are no viruses or anything harmful in this software.
The reason it's flagging the IRC bot is probably because it thinks it's an illegal bot, however it's simply a program that connects to an IRC channel as a normal user and carries out preprogrammed tasks, non of which are harmful in any way.
EDIT: don't use Norton. I recommend AVG

Is there a setting for public/private? I would like to be able to mess around and get to know this before hosting a public map
By the way, a family member picked the security suite becouse it was rated best overall. >_<

I'm getting an mscorwrks.dll could not be loaded error. I'm assuming this is something to do with the Service packs for windows since the regular server software doesn't work with SP1 because there is no firewall toggle. Do you think installing SP2 for windows xp would fix the error?
Im having issues extracting the meebley file, it just dissapears, without it i get errors ingame and on the console. D: could you please help? i am running windows XP, i have symantic antivirus, but it would tell me if it was a virus, any help anyone? please? i really want this.
EDIT: Got it fixed, nice, i will now point out glitches
* In water/lava mode if you do /paint it will cancel water mode
*In water/lava mode if you do /cuboid it will cancel water/lava mode
*(obvuis) map generator is like omen, see through sides
*You cant generate a map over 256 wide without server entering never ending lag
*You wont allow us to do HUGE draws (cuboids)
*Most commands are familier commands but with different name (this one annoys me the most)
*no threading
*grass grows even underground
*trees never grow
*any maps you create are public to builder+
*If you rejump server ranks are reset except for uberops (unless u manually put them in the admin .txt)
*at spawn for main you glitch down 1 block
*console can be hard to control
*can slow down your computer majorly
But even with all these glitches this is an amazing client!!!! TY! NO MORE NON STABBLE SERVER AND MAJOR LAG WITH MINRECPP!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! (sorry for trolling :cry: )
i like the server, and physics and multi-world make it a win over minercpp for me.
its some of the most advanced c# coding i've ever seen..
k, but if i may say, i tryed using /solid, then using /cuboid to make a large area of admin blocks,
and it, well, needless to say, did not pop up alot of admin blocks, rather just alot of stone.

quick update: server-name and motd should no longer default, unless it contains an illegal character.
Also fixed an indexing issue in the DNA.

What about Concept Build? Are you gonna make a thread for it?

@blaster: I'll add that option to server.properties
@xADWxScar: what are you using to extract? and what version of windows are you using?
On a lighter note, I will be adding some simple Lua support so you can make your own commands
EDIT: also, I was just notified by one of my admins that public wasn't an option. Fixing now.
EDIT2: public has been added to server.properties. you may have to manually add it

D3 Server! [Advanced, Custom physics / Anti-Greif / RP]
Server Status:
the only pain is that once you find where to look, it doesn't make the project for you.
so if you want to put it back into visual studio, its alot of work.

They will log on, but not be on the users list, and i have to change maps a few times to see them.
