Has anyone thought of writing a script for a local (windows/linux) server to output information about a minecraft server to a web server using php?
Such information would be stuff like (example)
-current player names
-how large the map is
-how long it has been running
-list names of ops/trusted/banned/etc
-rules
Pretty sure you can do this with curl. I just do not know any programming languages to do it myself :sad.gif:
From a server admins aspect, I think it would be a good way to give your players more information about your server without having to explain it to every single person that joins. Just put a link to the web script in the MOTD.
