Piping standard input, output and error (the server outs to stderr for some reason).
I've found the cause of this problem and it is either related to the MineCraft server or Java itself. For whatever reason, on some systems the server will not work as expected if you override standard input. It is not exclusive to my application so as I said its somewhere else. I still need to figure out what exactly is causing the problems, what is wrong with the server when it happens, and most importantly how to fix it.

Just a quick question how do you get the remote Admining working?
Ive managed to input my IP + the port into my url bar and all I get is a blank page. it doesnt ask for the remote admin login or anything.
Do you get a completely blank page (all white) or some kind of error?
Make sure RemotingEnabled=true is in serverop.properties. Also make sure the URL is correct (something like http://127.0.0.1:25500/). Lastly, check the console and ServerOpConsoleError.txt (if it exists) to make sure an error did not occur that would prevent the remoting from working.

Except I have one thing to say. For the pageadmin thing, it still displays your message. It should be private and broadcast in the console, so if someone sees a griefer....

I have no control over that, unfortunately.

Ok I just had to change the port number to match the one on my router and Minecraft server. still shows up as a blank white page.
You can't run the serverop listener on the same port that the Minecraft server is listening on. What errors are you getting from the browser or in the server console?

I just wanted to chime in that I'm getting the same problems as most everyone else. The server seems to boot up and load the level, saves once, then becomes unresponsive and doesn't allow connections.
What I get in the command window is exactly as follows:
Remoting now listening at: http://*:25500/
16:17:27 Setting up
16:17:27 Loading level
16:17:27 Now accepting input on 25565
16:17:27 Level saved! Load: 0/16
16:17:27 Level saved! Load: 0/16
Trying to connect to the remote server by 127.0.0.1:25500 does nothing. Connecting through 192.168.1.1:25500 takes me to the log in prompt, but then gives a "Server not ready yet..." error on an otherwise blank white screen.
Unlike most everyone else, however, I'm using XP SP2. I also have both .NET version 2 and 3 installed, as well as an up to date Java installation.
Too bad, I really liked the look of this server application, and am disappointed that it isn't working properly.
Got a feature request can you put in something to limit how fast a user and votekick/ban. I have griefers coming in teams of 4 and they go through and ban everyone from the server in short order. If they had a limit of say 1 per 2 minutes it would limit the damage they can do and the players might get a page out to me.
Thanks again for the server admin program its quite nice.
Ey dexter! Script is working great, but I can't connect to the remote web interface.
I put the IP that i find in whatismyip.com and then the port from the serverop.properties to the address bar in firefox but I don't get anything but a white screen and an loading error

dont make match. forward a new port or the first program to use it will take it up.
Now i have reason to believe this doesnt like SP3 very much
Nvm what i thought then lol
Anyone have a fix for this yet?

Bah, I've been trying to read through stdout. That explains so much.

Also I was wondering about editing the join message it gives.

Anyway, great program, I really wish there was a way to say multi line introductions.
Quality of output = Skill * Effort

Also, dexter for the people running non-dedicated servers, could you add an option to make a sound on page, ban, user join , ect?
Quality of output = Skill * Effort
Doesn't work :sad.gif:
Firefox says something like this
"Server in address *.*.*.* is answering too slow"
Quality of output = Skill * Effort
dont make match. forward a new port or the first program to use it will take it up.
Dexter, you should add an feature what can give other players than admins /tp command to use
