Hey guys, i have a problem with my MINECRAFT server, i haven't be able to play because i get this error "" "[WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
[WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JVM_Bind
[WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?"

everytime i start "Minecraft Server.exe" but i have the right settings, right port,right internet conection,right IP and everything i was able to play before and i haven't touch the settings, i checked the settings "server propeties" and they are allright. I don't know why my server gets this error. maybe because Java is already running or something, im not really sure. WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS?

Some info about my pc & conection.
-Windows 7
-Netgear Wireless router
-I Portfoward in my router. No hamachi or anything.

Is there another solution? Like i remember when i used to play a couple of days a go i put my local ip in the serverip part of "server_properties" and it work just fine.

Netty=true and set it to false.

I don't use any programs, i did port fowarding

This can happen alot. First close down any games or programs running. If it still dosnt work when you launch it make sure your not running a server. If you close a server incorrectly it can stay open in the background. If you dont know how to close it through Task Manager restart your computer! Hope this helped.

I had restart my pc many times :/ Doesn't work

Hmm maybe it hasnt been portforwarded properly?

im having this same exact problem right now. ever setting is correct but i cant connect to the server.

If you don't know how to open Task Manager, press the CTRL ALT DEL keys at the same time. Either Task Manager will pop up instantly, or your computer will black out for a second and bring you to a security menu. If on the Security Menu, click on Start Task Manager. Although I'm still having problems with the failed to bind to port.
