I had a working server on my old computer on the same network but I deleted the server and all its files on that computer. I port forwarded and when I went to canyouseeme.org I typed "25565" in the port box. It came up as successful. What am I doing wrong? Here are my server properties:

That's the one my friends use to connect to my server. I tried direct connect with that and it didn't work.
Yeah, you can not connect to a server you are hosting on your own network with your external IP. Your friends will use your external, and you have to use your internal IP, or localhost.

What IP adress are you using to connect to your server?
To connect to a server that is on the same network as you, use the IPv4 address of that server (192.168.**.***).
