I'm not sure if this is the right place to talk about this, but I'm hoping that someone could possibly lead me in the right direction:
I need a way to use /ban or other SMP commands on a single-player LAN world.
Why, you ask?
Well you see, my friends and I like to play minecraft at school when we have time, and the LAN covers the whole school. So you might guess we have problems with griefers and whatnot. At first it wasn't so bad- the worst it got was someone making a large model of a certain male part, working with a dispenser and slimeballs or wool... and at least that was creative, right? But then today some kid decided he wanted to blow up our whole town with TNT right under our noses. It was griefing at its finest. Luckily I saw this coming and had a backup of our world, but we lost all our hard-earned progress that day *sob*. So I don't want to have to go through this again, and any clues as to what I could do would be appreciated.
Thanks,
jbubbs
if you have published your world
use /help and it brings up a list of commands.
if /ban, /kick dont work make sure everyone has a premium account otherwise people can randomly join with a fake username, you can ban them and they can rejoin with a different username.

goto where your world it saved and open players, than delete all of those players but yours and your friends.
Set the default gamemode to Adventure and disable cheats, when your friend joins make him creative!
If you really want it to be safe make a bedrock box around a area and use /setspawn in it!

Yes, you should use the RealLan mod, however, be aware that this mod is not compatible with Optifine or Forge.

Ah, the admin should have multiplayer commands to ban an alleged griefer. If the griefer dares to hack a server, he will possibly face penalty to the law, as I am thinking.
