K seems like the whole thing is fixed now.

So annoying same thing happend to me.

I am still getting the first error.

internal client error: java.net.UnknownHostException: session.minecraft.net

Is anyone still having this problem?

I'm still finding alot of servers are still down. Whatever happened, really messed things up for alot of people.

One of your friends set this server up right? they need to allow it through the firewall I think, but I'm not sure how to do it.

Edit: if it was not your friends then try to connect to a different sever see what happens then.

For over 24 hours, servers all over the place have been going down. Just now, 4 servers I play on, all went down. I've checked boards and tweets, and Mojang is not releasing alot of info. Any idea what is going on?

I have the same problem 1.3 is allready out and i downloaded it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Ugh I hope this is just a minecraft problem and not my internet l: Im having the same problem.... Im updating java so maybe that will work

Have you tried going to
run
and typing %appdata%
then going to .minecraft
bin
​then delete jiinput
now go onto minecraft and you MUST update

i see the server is online but when i try to connect i get an error then it says cummunication error (yes spelled like that) and it usually then crashes

Can someone help Me? Ever since i got Minecraft when i go on multiplayer it just goes "Scanning for LAN Worlds" and it never stops. I have had it up for neraly fifteen minutes and it still searching!

I'm unable to connect to any servers at all myself. All I keep getting when I try is a message saying "Connection Lost. Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset". I can play singleplayer fine but do you know how boring it is playing alone with no one to talk to?!!!. I found myself talking to a sheep for half an hour.

I cant connect either. I go offline and click on multiplayer, all the servers I have are unconnectable. I didnt download minecraft free and hack it without a premium account for nothing.

I hate how they have to do this for the updates. Warnings? Of course not!
