Hello, trying to transfer a realm to a new player since the realm owner isn't interested in playing anymore. We tried having the current owner send the player the world folder and having the new player upload the world as a new realm, and it reset the world spawn and failed to remember players' inventories. It's a busy server so it's not practical to have every player dump their inventory before we transfer, and besides, we don't want the world spawn to reset--we've built a ton around the current world spawn. We don't know how we'd get back to the play area (we don't have cheats on and there's no telling how far away this new random spawn is from our original one). Not to mention every player would lose their accrued experience as well.
Our plan B is for the current world owner to simply give the other player access to their Microsoft account so they can log in and change texture backs, save backups, etc. but that is not a great or longterm solution.
There must be a better way to keep our realm going even though the owner has lost interest in running it. What's the solution?
That doesn't solve the spawn problem. We have no idea where it's dumping us in the new version and no way to get back to our actual play area without turning cheats on to get coordinates.

Or short: everyone dumps his stuff in a chest and the inventory problem is solved...
