I can't connect to someone's realm . I keep getting messages that say "unable to connect world" or "disconnected from server". I tried everything. Others on the realm was also having trouble and I believe the host as well but they can get on now but I still can't. I reinstalled the game, restarted my device, cleared cache and date, made more space, and I even reset my device. It was working fine last night and I did nothing but turn of my phone. I'm not happy about this.
My realm is having same problem people cant get on and when we do its for like 30 secs then disconnected we also had huge chunks reset on us massive structures just vanished into thin air literally and for having to pay every month for a realm full of bugs and problems and connection issues its not worth it who would want to pay for a game full of bugs like chunk reset,cows cant be leashed,multi mob leashing,douping anything that can be placed and hundreds more bugs i could go on forever this company is multibillion corp so pay some overtime and hire more techs cause if the connection prob at least dont get fixed im not paying no more less money in your guys pocket
It may be the server crash bug. When you get it you can't log in the realm and it crashes it for anyone online. Only fix is for a new gt. It's driving me nuts in my realm, 5 players already got it and had to make new gts and one of them got it on his second gamer tag.
im having the same problem except the realm is not letting me on but lets everyone else on, and when i try to join, it says disconnected from server too, and whoever was on the server gets kicked off

That's what's happening to me. I found out awhile after I made this post. It was weird when I try to get on the host message me that he and others got disconnected afterwards.
Obviously opening a ticket is not at all helpful whatsoever. How would you respond to this?

If that does not help, please try logging out of your Xbox Live account, close the application completely, start it up again and then sign in. After this, try connecting to the Realm again.
If the issue still persists, try connecting to the Realm from a different network than the one you're currently connected to.
If neither of the above solves your issue, you might have to reset your Realm.

This was my response. Hopefully it's not too rude. But, frankly I'm surprised at the lack of information, lack of responsiveness to something that is so bad and effects so many people, it should have been a rollback or had an immediate hotfix. The lack of testing before releases on Mojang's part is so obvious. Judging by the other bugs that are out there, it seems as though they may have even known this was an issue and released anyway. Someone at Mojang is putting a lot of feature release pressure on developers to the point that they are just releasing crappy, untested stuff or stuff they know is broken and will screw over the public.
"I have tried all of the steps you mentioned already (minus resetting the realm). Do you think this issue might resolve itself after the next release assuming this bug is fixed REALMS-79? Or do you think a reset will still be necessary?
If I ever had to reset, I would expect a refund from the time the realm was created to the date it was reset - whatever date that is. If that could be guaranteed, I don't mind resetting. Otherwise, I would say the app is not at all as advertised."

This bug still exists. Happened to me and my realm today. Suddenly, I can't log in without kicking everyone else out. And if anyone else logs on, it kicks me out. I'm the realm owner. This occurred on the Java PC edition, so it doesn't seem to be exclusive to PE or XBox. Pretty infuriating, honestly. A game this old, with a paid subscription for the Realm shouldn't have a bug that renders your account practically unusable for multiplayer for this long.

I'm having the same issue as the guy on the top.
I've been a paying customer for less than a week--this is a bit frustrating. My poor daughter doesn't know what to do with her hands!

83 is a duplicate and will eventually get closed once a moderator gets to it. 79 is actually assigned and supposedly being worked on.

The version remains the same for Android (15.2), but the realms appear to be working again. Anyone else?
