I am having another sync issue but it may be related to the other two if having 360 saves involved is having an effect. I bought a second xbox one and now neither of them will sync minecraft to the cloud. Microsoft just says try again or load old data and start over. I have tried staying logged in with it just on the start screen for many hours i have tried force closing the game and staying logged in for many hours. I have tried deleting everything off one xbox. It always just says your other xbox is taking a long time to sync. Or something to that effect. Nothing i have tried will get it to sync. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(Update)
So i tried using the old saves and that downloads fine but now i have different versions of levels on both xboxs and still neither one of them will sync to the cloud. They both say your other xbox is taking a long time to sync. Any thoughts?
There seems to be a issue as well with just general syncing with the worlds. I have lost a few because they do not sync to the cloud.
I'm currently not able to copy so to speak my main save from my main xbox one to my secondary xbox one.
Every time I tried it would tell me my saves have not finished syncing from the old console. Let it sit here on the xbox home screen for an hour and nothing same with Minecraft home screen and still nothing. And it is quite annoying D:

Is this an xbox problem or a Minecraft problem?
The biggest issue with the syncing process is it shows you absolutely no progress at all - In terms of the actual syncing process it's all dealt with by the system.
We create our save games as normal and the System goes through the process of syncing those saves.

Yeah so far that is the only thing that really annoys me about Xbox One. I don't know if it is syncing or not. The saves that are there at the moment are months old. But there is one there that was made awhile ago and I changed the name and it showed up on the other console. Microsoft need to fix this. Since it seems to be a problem on their end then.
My most recent save game is gone too. My older ones are there. I get on one day and it says unable to sync save game data at this time . All the pictures of the worlds are just grass blocks and each one requires syncing before it can be played. This all happened after I created another profile on my xbox one.
The sync error happened at 99%. My save game originated from my 360 save. But so did the older ones that are still there.

Hi -My kids experienced the 2nd Issue = "Save syncing process stopping for no reason and returning to the Save game men"
I fixed it by following these steps and give credit to user4214:
) go to network settings and go offline
2) go to settings > All Settings > System > Storage > Manage Storage > view contents >select minecraft (button with 3 lines) > manage game > saved data > delete from console. (It is still on the server, so you can get it back)
3) hold xbox button for 10 seconds to shut it down
4) wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on
5) go back online in settings
6) launch minecraft
7) go to world 1, click A, sync it, then click B to go back to your world menu. Go through and sync all worlds. Do NOT load them, just sync.
8) once all worlds are sync'd, quit minecraft (home button, button with 3 lines, quit
In my case, I never received errors when syncing, but I recently had to delete/re-add my LIVE account on my Xbox One and I lost 1/4 of my worlds. None of my other Xbox One games lost any data, just Minecraft. So, it seems that even if you're not getting a sync error, Minecraft is not able to sync the data. This really makes me leary of spending any time at all creating worlds as they may just be lost. Unfortunately, there is no way to back up the worlds from the Xbox One to external storage.
I think my xbox one worlds are corrupted. I click A over and over. Nothing happens. I unplugged the console for 30 seconds and it didn't fix it. This is the second time I've restarted a world after this issue and I WILL NOT just start over again. Invest another hundreds of hours in a world knowing you're just going to lose it? No thanks!
1. Is this issue avoidable?
2. Is there any hope of playing the world that won't open?
I am currently having this issue. All of my worlds will load except for the main world that me and my friends play on. Hundreds of hours spent on this world and it is the only one that will not sync. Please help.

This happened to me the first week of January (Happy freakin New Year am I right?). This is a serious problem with the game. I think they said it was going to be fixed in TU32 but I'm not sure. Regardless they need to notice this issue if they haven't already. Don't know if the next update will allow us to go back to our worlds, but until then I'm not playing Minecraft.
In other words, there are still synching issues. I think I'll stick to 360 for now. I actually bought an Xbox One half a year ago, primarily to transfere my existing world to it. But it seems more and more unlikely that it will ever happen.
So my world I've been playing on since 2014 won't sync. It takes over an hour for it to get to 99%, and when its on 99% going to 100%, it gives me the image below. I walked through Xbox support and did all the steps they told me (including deleting my account, hard reset, clearing all the cache for the console), and it still didn't fix it. If I truly lost my world, 4J I mean this in the most respectable way, go **** yourselves. This is the fourth time I've lost my world since Minecraft came out on Xbox 360. How is it acceptable for a game to to wipe all my progress 4 times, and to countless of dozens of other people? Hundreds of hours of progress gone, because I can't "sync my data"? Really? This is just so extremely frustrating to deal with.
Issues regarding Syncing need to be reported to Microsoft Support.
@Motag8tor - the previous issues concerning syncing were fixed in a system update.

Has anyone received any answers regarding the error ()? Spent over hour troubleshooting with Microsoft last night and nothing worked. I plan to try again this evening.
The error () is the problem I have. The same as the picture a couple posts above. It all started with the new Xbox One update. Does anybody have a fix for this? Losing the world you spent hundreds of hours on sucks.
im dealing with the second issue and its with a world ive been working on for hours and alot of hard work had been put into it. i really want to play that world again.
My husband and I and our 3 kids each have our own profiles on the Xbox. Loading/Sync issues seem to vary by profile.
Mine - no issue, syncs almost instantly, no lag at all
my husband - LONG sync, over 15min in some cases, no lag and plays fine once loaded
The Kids - long sync, freezes on title screen and world list, crashes, kids get frustrated and manually restart the xbox.
Additionally there is an issue with Multi-player: Cannot change skins. Attempts to do so result in long sync/loading, freezing or crashing the game and being kicked back to xbox home menu or needing to manually restart the console.
Would syncing issues mess with DLC, because my halloween mash up, greek mashup, and my minecon skins aren' t allowing me to use them.( Yes I purchased them ,and the time that I purchased them was around the time that they released.)

What about multiplayer connection failures for the Xbox One server. I started encountering this issue after the game update.
