I've been trying to retrieve my world from the xbox 360 since yesterday but it just gets stuck on a certain % and it never moves from there. It uploaded perfectly fine from the 360 but when I go and retrieve it on the Xbox One it just gets stuck on a random %. I've been working on the world for about 3 months it's a giant creation and I don't want to lose it v.v I tried restarting my xbox, disconnecting it, restarting my internet. Nothing seems to work.
I am having the same issue. I spent a total of two hours on the phone with Microsoft support. We checked my network settings, cleared 360 cache, tried new worlds, uninstalled and reinstalled the game on the 360 and on the Xbox One, and a lot of other things; however, nothing worked. Everything seems to upload from the 360, but the save file will not download on the Xbox One. The download stops anywhere from 0.18 MB to 0.58 MB out of 7.90 MB.
At this point I'm confident that it's not an issue with my Xbox 360 or the One.
Same here...it seems like it worked fine before the last update. I've tried everything as well, and nothing works. It gets stuck at 0.22MB out of 12.53. I almost got it to work once, after resetting everything, but then it got stuck at 12.47 out of 12.53 MBs. Very frustrating. It took at least 30 min. to get to 12.47. I haven't been able to recreate that result again. It just gets stuck at 0.22MB now. Every file gets stuck when retrieving the save btw. I hope they fix this soon :/
I was having the same issue.. what fixed it for me was actually creating a world on xbox 1 first and then downloading my world.. worked instantly for me
I just got the Xbox One S and I am having the same exact issue...however someone else on my xbox 360 consul tried and they had a pretty big world and it worked for them just fine. I don't know if it really makes a difference but should I just save it to the cloud or even uninstall and reinstall minecraft on XB1?
I recently have gotten Minecraft XB1 edition. I had Xbox 360 version with a TU11 survival world that I have held onto. Last December when I got my Xbox One, I transfered the world and wiped my Xbox 360 clean.
The first thing I did when I got MCXB1 was receive the world. I get to where the world is converting and it stops at at least 80% done, freezes the game, and crashes. How do I fix?

I might have figured out why some games may not be able to finish converting data for xbox one. I noticed that when I transferred a world that was smaller where I did very little building, it went through the entire transfer just fine. However when I selected the world I have been working on for a few years now, which was bigger, it ends up crashing. So I have a feeling there might be a size limit? but that would not make sense if people are having issues with smaller sized worlds.
Is there a solution yet? I just got minecraft for xb1 and as soon as it converts to Xbox one version it crashes. I've tried multiple times. Feel like a wasted my money on the game right now
I played my game and saved it in various different places on my world trying everytime I saved to get it to work eventually I saved my game in the end and it finally worked now I have other issues
Did you have the problem were your game crashes when the xbox one is converting the file, or downloading the file? I've been trying everything and my games always crashes right after converting, and I was wonsering if I should try your method of saving in different places.
Here's my problem. Trying to transfer my saved world from Xbox 360 to Xbox one S. One world in particular transferred over just fine. But the main world that I regularly play I have tried to transfer over. It uploads from the 360 seemingly just fine, however; when I try to load it onto the Xbox one, It goes through the downloading file data prompt OK, then when it goes to the converting data for Xbox one, it stops just short and kicks me back to the main menu . Please help
