None of my game sames load at this point and some have even been magically renamed so I have duplicates now and some are missing.
Microsoft support says to contact mojang and mojang says to contact Microsoft support. Either way it seems I will never be able to play Minecraft on Xbox one again.
MrSmoofy, your games will appear that way until they sync.
Guys, Go to network settings, say "play offline" and try to load your map. Pray, pray, pray it loads. If it does this can get yu playing offline. It also means someone can erase or fix your cloud save then pray it resyncs.

I'll do the best I can to help on this subject but as far as I'm aware Syncing is dealt with on the system side of things.

Thanks 4JSteve!Someone resolved my issue, case number is on page #1 - if that helps, hopefully they can repeat the fix. Having 4J initiate will probably get things going faster. I had 700 hours in my world, these guys have crazy amounts too so it is a big deal to us players. Thanks so much!
Xbox support blames 4J. All my games sync just fine with the exception of minecraft. Please, I beg you for mercy. I have over 8 months in this world and countless hours!

5. Tried an external Harddrive USB 3.0 >256GB (Xbox support said it was my hard drive and I had to do this) I had to buy a hard drive which I was sure would not work and when it didn't I returned it.
6. Tried new router (Xbox support said it was my router) again had to but prove them wrong and returned it.
7. Tried friend xbox that didn't have my profile and has never played Minecraft again same results.
8. Took my xbox to another persons house to try it same result.
The only play my saved games work is the last place they were played which is at my girlfriends house. So valid working version are on her Xbox One but some moron at Microsoft decided to not provide a way to copy/backup your game saves and to depend on their crap ass cloud service.
I'm on my 3rd week contacting them every day about this. I'm really getting tired of the run around and their finger point excuses.

Unfortunately it's a separate system that we have no control over.
This is very much an Xbox Support issue and they should be escalating these issues further.
If possible could you provide the Case numbers? and I'll speak to our Producer on the Microsoft side of things directly.

The case numbers they have given me are 1293294875, 1293296679, 1293349467
They claim 2 of those are not mine but they are the ones that gave them to me. They say the main case number I should be using is 1293296679
Additionally a previous posters case which I believe was resolved and is comparable to mine is SRX1286314068ID
Thanks for any help you can give because I've not been able to get Microsoft to do anything other then point figures and give excuses.
Even if the outcome is it's corrupt never to be recovered then I want some qurantee it's not going to happen again either by them making a backup or giving me the ability to make a backup otherwise I will never play Minecraft again on Xbox One in fear it will happen again.

Very well said. Something could be done to give us the ability to make separate backups like on a flash drive or something. Minecraft is dead if they don't do something. I have lost 8 months of work and over 2,000 of time. Very heart breaking.

Mojang flat out told me they have NOTHING to do with the cloud storage, that is on Xbox. Xbox support admitted to me this is a known issue and they hope to have it solved within a week. I think that is a BS answer as they at first tried to blame Mojang. If you look on the Xbox forums you can see this has been an issue for a long time. I seen a post from November 2014 complaining about it. Sad.

While I have an issue with cloud saves that can be corrupted with no ability to back up our saves my other issues shouldn't be over looked.
1. Finger Pointing. When MineCraft doesn't work I think of Mojang and 4JStudios. They both claim they have no control. Your name is on the game how bad does that make you look when you can't help. Yes you may not have direct access to Xbox One servers or data but you should have the ability to talk to someone at Microsoft to help resolve issues.
2. Microsoft's support is nothing but people that flat out lie and do anything to get you off the support call.
a. Beginning of last week I was told that my case was escalated to the Advocacy Team. This only happened after I continued to refuse their placated answers. I was told I would be contacted via email or phone on 6/25.
b. When I wasn't contacted on 6/25 I again asked on 6/26 why wasn't I contacted and when would I be contacted. I again was told it would be that day that they could see the Advocacy team working on my case and I would be contacted. Again I wasn't
c. I again on 6/27 asked again and was told I would be contacted that day.
d. I again on the 28th asked again and was told they would definitly contact me Monday 6/29
e. Again here we are 6/29 and I asked again when I would be contacted and am now being told in 48 hours.
Do you see the pattern here. I'm not looking for a call that says it's fixed per say, a call that says we are working on it here is what we know. A simple phone call goes a long long way even an email.
3 Weeks I've asked everyday this is obsurd that customers are treated like this.
1 Time I called and it was right after Social services had issues and had been restored. The person told me that my issue that I had for 2 weeks was actually going to be resolved with the resolution to the social service issue and to give it an hour. Another example of just blowing the cutomer off.
I am just so dumb founded by all this. It makes me think about the amount of money Microsoft has made off of me from the very first pre-order of the very first Xbox and the thousands of dollars I've spent to be tossed aside as just trash.
I've seriously considered shipping my xbox one back to microsoft with a strong worded letter asking for a refund of my life and to go back to playing games on PC's only.
I know venting here about Microsoft's failures doesn't help in any way but it does make me feel a little better knowing I'm not alone. Do we need to start an online petition to correct the wrongs here?

MrSmoofy, this won't help you get your save back, but if you want to get some minecraft in I'd gladly welcome a builder in my survival world, even if for a little bit (heck, at this point I'd pay someone to help me slab/clean up my nether so I can farm wither skulls lol)
Also, keep in mind it took me about 2 months to get a fix as well. HANG IN THERE MAN!

So I finally spoke to someone today who is working on my case. I've pointed them to this thread so that those of you with the same issue here will hopefully get help as well. His next steps were he was gathering all the case notes and I gave him more details and he will be reaching out to his internal teams including Mojang to help get to the bottom of the issue. I should hear some kind of feedback by tomorrow but no later then Thursday.
4JSteve: Really with this issue it is clear we must have a "copy to local hard drive" and "import from local hard drive" possibility. 360 had this yes? Lets get the same on Xbox one!
WHY you say? Well I was travelling for work and I take my Xbox. Xbox requires online connectivity to play family shared games (long story, crappy setup, had to be online to play). Hotel had web auth wireless, meaning no connection on Xbox one, so I tethered to my phone.
I loaded minecraft, afked overnight (gogo iron farm) and had a fat 3GB data transfer in 8 hours.
That means auto-save is freaking huge in terms of bandwidth use (at least for my world). If this were auto saving to HDD, no biggy, no bandwidth.
(PILING on about saving, but still, WHY does it lag so bad when saving? In the nether if autosave is on it is extremely risky as ghasts/blazes get easy shots on you from the lag when autosave happens. no joke when I enter the nether I disable autosave and reenable after leaving) -- will post a video of that in a separate thread so we don't derail here!.

ElimAgate I've seen this save lag too it's horrible. To sync my world although ti fails every time it takes 1 hour to fail don't see why this is so slow but I don't think it's just Minecraft everything about the internet and Xbox is slow.
From my wired PC I get 100Mbit up and down out on average wireless about the same the Xbox wired gets 70 at most wired and 20's wirelss.
So even at 70Mbit up and down I've noticed installing updates, downloading DLC etc is almost like your on dialup. I think Microsoft has a huge problem here.
I was very disappointed to see the new update did not resolve the issue with syncing worlds, it makes me wonder if all of our worlds are corrupt and forever lost, or if some day a bug fix will save us.. Its like they dont even care!

I have thousands of hours in my world! Xbox blames Mojang and Mojang will not address the issue or even tell us what is going on.
