My daughter's kindle fire hd is being replaced with a new kindle fire HD. She would like to transfer her game to the new device. I am hoping there is a way to do this. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks. I know how to download the app itself onto the new kindle. But she wants to keep her world's. Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer your world's from one device to a new one?
Maybe you can connect the two devices then go to the files of the worlds on the old tablet and transfer them to the new tablet.
Easiest way to do this is plug the first kindle into a PC, and navigate to wherever MCPE is located.
(I don't have a kindle to test this, but Kindle runs Android, so I imagine it'd be similar.)
You want, more or less, this filepath where you have a minecraftWorlds folder:
(My Android is the "G2" in the path. Yours will be called something else)
From there, you can either just copy the entire folder to the PC, or go into the folder and copy individual worlds.
Once you're done, unplug the first kindle and plug the 2nd one into the PC.
Go to the same directory and place the minecraftWorlds folder (or the individual worlds) where they belong, and it should work perfectly fine.
