DxDiag, short for DirectX Diagnostics, is a tool used for obtaining system information that is very useful for diagnosing and solving many different issues.
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
This may be due to an issue with AMD GPUs, even high-end ones; if you have Optifine or Foamfix try disabling animated terrain/texture animations, though then you won't have any animated textures (e.g. water, fire) but at least you won't be getting 1-2 FPS (in general, Minecraft prefers NVIDIA since that is what it was written to use, it even uses OpenGL functions that are only supported by it):
Disabling mipmaps and using a 16x resource pack may also help (anything that increases the size of the texture atlas or the number of animated textures makes the problem worse; mods are particularly notorious for overusing animated/high resolution textures).

Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
