now i get 120 fps on stable BUT it lag a lot on chunk update
here is my Minecraft settings:
1.16.2
20 chunks
gave all cores to Minecraft
4GB ram for Minecraft
Fabulous setting
Forge and optifine with few mods (like tree cutter and some really not heavy load ones)
I checked and my Minecraft rans on my GPU
Minecraft runs on SSD nvme pcie
my friends who also play have worse stuff then me and getting 400 ON VANILLA
I tried to change NVidia 3d settings, didn't help
I did windows performance power changer and not balanced
I checked a lot of forums here but all the solutions didn't help :/
anyone that had the same problem/know how to fix that stuff can help? I am out of ideas
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.

Looks fine now!
Also, Minecraft doesn't run smoothly because it's poorly coded.

Is there the same issue without Optifine? With Optifine test it with disabling "render regions" and "fast render"
Also make sure, the Nvidia Overlay is disabled
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
I dont use nvidia overlay.
-Xmx4G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32Mif
and please when u comment look what i type because i said i allocated 4 GB
Also add the F3 screenshot
i added above
Did you test it?
Is there a change by reducing the render-distance?
Also, try lowering "Biome blend" to 3x3 or lower.
There is also a newer driver:
https://www.nvidia.de/Download/driverResults.aspx/165823/de
Here is the english site instead of german for the newer driver:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/165823/en
The file is the same
As this forum is full of english people, better post links in english there.
Not everyone knows that "Jetzt Herunterladen" is "Download Now".
