Minecraft used to work fine, now it is not working, I didn't download anything other than a few mods. I launch 1.16.1 or .16.3 I tried nearly everything to launch but it just didn't launch. I was on the opening screen for hours and I waited a long time for it to launch but it didn't. I think there is something wrong with the folders on .minecraft but I am not sure.
if you help me with my problem I would literally appreciate so much since minecraft is my favorite game and I can't play it.
You also can backup your .minecraft-folder and delete it
Test it with a clean installation
Before doing this, delete options.txt, which is probably the single biggest cause of game malfunctions (as an example, it can even cause crashes which would normally be associated with bad graphics drivers) - it is extremely unlikely that any of the actual program files are corrupt since the launcher checks the integrity of every file (excluding settings, saves, resource/data packs) on every launch, redownloading any files do not match the ones on Mojang's servers (excluding modded instances, which have to block this check or they will also be replaced with clean files):
Also, if deleting options.txt fixes it, always make sure you run separate versions in their own game directories (the game is very bad at ensuring that the settings in this file are valid and different versions will change various settings).

Go to %appdata%/.minecraft/logs/
and add the latest.log or fml-client-latest.log
Also run adwcleaner: malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

MCL-4334 Minecraft gets reinstalled everytime you launch it (with a modified jar that is, unless you or a mod installer make a custom version json which removes the download URL/checksum)

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Thanks guys sorry for the late reply, you guys are the best. It worked and finally I can play it now.
