as you seen in the title i need help. every time i launch minecraft: java edition, the frp goes from 200 to 1 in a few seconds. i tried to troubleshoot it but nothing worked. i laucnced the bedrock edition of the game and that worked fine. every program on my computer works fine exept minecraft: java edition so i opened task manager and saw this:
and a few days ago it worked fine and i havent downloaded anything new.

Pick the selections that refer to your video card. You can see what video card you have in the screenshot that you posted above. And your message being marked as spam was simply a mistake by the forum's spam filter.
Download and install geforce experience and it will do it automatically, if you don't want to keep it, you can then uninstall it, but it does keep your drivers up to date easily.
my computer is a laptop so it the notebook option the right one?

Laptops usually always throttle down their performance when not plugged into a power source to conserve your battery life (unless you explicitly say not to in your power settings) and run much better when they're plugged in, so that's normal. Could you post your Minecraft settings (found in your F3 debug screen again) for the older Minecraft version that you're using now?

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.

how do i know what drivers to get and where do i get them?? (sorry im not very tecky)

ok. it turns out i already have geforce experience and i went in and pressed "drivers" and this came up. what do i click?
ive already got the "game ready" divers installed but do i download the ones from the download button at the top?

ITS HAPPENING AGAIN.
All i did was go back to older version and i even did it in a new installation but i am STILL HAVING THIS PROBLEM
i just realised that it happens when i am not on charge but when i am i get way more fps.
EDIT: im on charge but i keep getting half a second fps drops and i turned Game DVR thing off

lol i just realises that i wasnt chargin when i was on the older version and that why i got bad fps
