I’ve just recently deleted a world that I’ve been working on for more than a week for someone as a gift, and I accidentally deleted it. I began to panic and I looked at multiple videos of how to recover it. I looked in my saves folder and it wasn’t there (because I had deleted it) and I also did the trick where you right click the folder, click properties, and look at previous versions. It said that there were none. So I cannot find the world anywhere in my files. I even searched the trash bin, and it wasn’t there. I just started running Recuva to try and see if I can recover it, but I’m scared it won’t work. I’ll update on it later when it finishes scanning through the files, but in the meantime, do you have any other recommendations?
Well let that be your lesson then to always make backups!

Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
Update: Yeah I tried to back it up but I ended up backing a wrong world. I tried two recovery programs and it didn't find or restore anything. Bummer. Now I know NOT to accidentally delete my world and create more backups.

No backups like a copied or zipped world folder?
If Recuva didn't restore it then it's lost.
