When I was trying to port forward my server, I went to my router and added a new service to port forward. I added 25565 for internal start internal end and external start and enternal end. After, I added my local ip to an address reservation in the "LAN Setup" and nothing seemed to work so I undid everything. I went to play minecraft on a different server and I couldn't connect to it. I exited out of that server and realized that couldn't connect to any.
Whenever I try it just says io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception.
Please help.
Goggle says its an issues with your firewall
I disabled my firewall and tested to see if it would work, but still is says "cant connect to server".
I solved it! You have to make sure your router's firewall isn't blocking any connections, not your pc's. Thanks Hidiety!
Glad you figured it out!
