My friend is running a server. He, his roommate, and another person can log on just fine. Everyone else can't.
At least for me, when first trying to log in I get into the world and walk around for maybe 45 second the following error:
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Any subsequent attempt to log in will show no connection and the following error:
io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection time out: no further information:
If I use a VPN it change servers, I can connect before getting the booted with the first error and no further connection.
I can connect to other servers just fine.
I am running on Windows 10, the server is running on CentOS 7.
The server uses Minecraft Server Manager.
Post results from speedtest.net of your internet speed and your friends.
I'm getting ~32Kbps (last was a 31.66Kbps), but I get a socket error on the upload, something that hasn't happened before. Google's Internet Speed Test just straight-up failed. I tried turning off the firewall temporarily and tried resetting the router. This is a new error for me.
With the speedtest app, I got 28.67 Mbps down, 1.51 Mbps up.
As for my friend, "Generally 400 down 40 up"
Thanks for the prompt reply, by the way.
Yeah we cannot help with internet issues here.
Speed test error appears to be as a result of Chrome. The following results are from Opera.
31.79 Mbps Down
3.33 Mbps Up
Edit: Fixed the issue, it had to do with security on the gateway.
Thanks for your time.
