Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
My last backup is from a while ago... honestly if I buy the game and play so much I'd expect there would be a way to fix an error of the game itself... otherwise I have just paid from a broken product
Minecraft isn't a "broken product." Bugs exist in all games. Feel free to submit a bug report and describe your issue to Mojang so that they can potentially fix the issue. Unfortunately, you have to deal with the results of the bug at the moment.
Unfortunately the responses have not been enlighted, I only got what I already knew.
I partially solved it: I took the "region" folder out of my corrupted file and replaced it with the backup one. Which construction-wise set me back quite a bit, but I was able to keep all of my important objects and achievements (dragon killed etc.).
Thank you anyway, I hope others can benefit from this thread.

The responses you've had are fully enlightened. Everyone who plays Minecraft and invests a lot of time and energy into creating worlds, should also invest a little time and energy into creating a simple and quick backup system which can rescue you from problems like this. It's so easy to do, and can resolve a lot of issues.
Yes, as ConorGarland and Saiph2 have mentioned, creating frequent backups is very important. I know it may seem tedious to have to copy your .minecraft folder and save it somewhere else every week or two, but you'll be glad that you've done so when you run into an issue like this.
I added a folder to .minecraft (C:\Users\edited\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\TempStorage), it can be called anything you like.
Once I create a new world I copy it from the \saves folder and paste that copy on my Desktop.
EVERY TIME I play that world after that I copy/replace the Desktop copy to my TempStorage folder. Then I copy/paste that world from the .minecraft\saves to my Desktop again and begin the new play.
Replacing what is in the \saves folder with the two-play old-world version from \TempStorage folder or the one-play old copy from the Desktop always fixes whatever error I made.
If I missed something stupid by more than two plays I deserve to start over!
I'm using Java, last version.
I've just gotten back from my first visit to the end world, just to find that the chunks where I have built my village were incredibly messed up!
Entire buildings were duplicated and teleported, parts of those building completely vanished, leaving villagers scattered around.
The entire side of a mountain nearby was carved out!
Help please, I've spent weeks building in this world and it's just sad to see everything I've been working on just gone like this.
Chunk corruption.
Restore your world from a backup!

If I may; you needn't copy the entire MC folder!
