Hello, I have a small problem with my farm and I need some help with it so please don`t scroll down!
1) I replicated the farm at y=180, because I didn`t want to deal with caves and it worked really, really great (about 40 mobs every minute) for a short period of time, then it became extremely slow compared to what it was spewing out before (5 mobs every minute).
2) Ok I explained the problem, now what could have effected the spawn rates?
- I built a box around the lower part of the tube (so I can safely afk and kill the mobs, that drop down), but I lit it up, so this can`t be the reason, as to why the spawn rates have dropped.
- I also built some water elevators and lit them up aswell.
- I am far enough from the spawner (More than 24 and less than 32 blocks from it), so that can`t be the reason.
- I did not change the redstone, although I personally think the dispensers dispense water faster, than the mobs can spawn. Then again, the spawner worked fine with the same redstone clock.
===================================================================================================================
- I think this might be the most reasonable cause for the drop in spawn rates:
I am playing on a PaperMC Aternos` server, without any mods. \\ Edit: added "Aternos`" and ", without any mods" \\
Mobs were spawning the most when I was alone on my server. When a person joined, the spawn rates dropped. I have to note: I didn`t really pay attention to mob spawns, when the player joined, because I was building the box and water elevators mentioned before, so I can only assume that this is the most viable reason.
I will keep this updated, when I get the chance to be alone on the server again.
===================================================================================================================
3) If anyone has an idea, as to what the cause or solution to this problem might be, please reply! I need this really badly and it might help others aswell!

I added some pictures aswell.
You not being alone on the server is the problem. No way around it.
I thought so! Thanks.
