I'm trying to install some fabric mods on multimc. I tried both
options of getting fabric. By copying multimc instance URL from here - https://fabricmc.net/use/
and by just clicking install fabric in 1.14.4 multimc minecraft instance. It worked in both cases.
Then I wanted to install some mods. All ( even fabric API ) produced this error:

Can you show a modlist and screenshots of the multimc launcher, I'm not used to Fabric logs yet and also from what I can see that doesn't tell me much, that can't be the whole log.
Always check what mods use what libraries/cores too, as many might embed them but others don't that require Fabric Language Kotlin for example.

Hmm the Fabric API & Mod Menu seem fine, can you show the Fabric Loader version?
Does importing a Fabric modpack work? Try some I have from my Fabric 1.14 Forum Thread and see if they load up correctly. Otherwise have you tried installing Fabric on the regular launcher or other third party ones and had the same issue?
TBH I can't really tell what the problem is as I don't get why it would be taking long to setup and the mod resolution part confuses me (I'm not familiar with it's meaning). Does it run without the mods installed and come up with the same issue? The only other thing I can think of is showing a video of what loader, and new instance creation is like with MultiMC or more screenshots. Otherwise I'd recommend checking the Fabric Discord and seeing what they think as I'm not too sure about this.

I also remember that I was using fabric voxelmap mod on multimc but I don't remember how I set it up.[/p]
The only other thing I can think of is to try deleting the .mixin and .fabric folders and see if it reloads them correctly. Otherwise I recommend the Fabric Discord #playersupport channel to help you out as I'm out of options of what it could be.
Uninstalling and reinstalling multimc did not work, but I made a new user and created an instance with mods on that user ( it worked ). Then I copied that user's ~ / .local / share / multimc folder to my ~ / .local / share. I started multimc and it worked!
Congrats! Kept thinking it was a Fabric setup issue more than a MultiMC issue but seems the location or the folder path for MultiMC just wasn't happening huh.
