In 1.7.10 I cannot click on a world to load it, the same happens if I try to select a mod on the in game forge menu. The problem extends to 1.12.2, in the Lycanites mod I cannot interact with the in game menu for it.
Brief research showed that someone else had the same problem but their fix didn't work for me. They said they disabled their xbox game bar on windows 10.
please help, I can't even play the game right now!
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
Sorry, the HijackThis program seems to encounter an error when I run it, though it does shed some light on what could be the problem.
I had issues with my PC for quite a while before I got it repaired, but I didn't reset my windows install afterwards which means I might still be running on a corrupted install.

Reinstall MC from scratch.
Have done, no difference.
Post a HijackThis log.
Download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/files/2.0.5 beta/HijackThis.exe/download
Run HijackThis as Administrator, click on "I accept", then "Do a system scan and save a log file".
Then a text file will open. Copy everything, then paste it on https://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.
While it does sound scary, it does not give us any personal or sensitive information.

If Windows is corrupt, better reinstall Windows.
