At first I wanna apologize to my english. I don't speak it very well, so it's even possible I'm making grammar mistakes or the other ones writing it. xD
To the point, I tried to get more FPS in Minecraft running shaders a few times, but my results' effort didn't satisfy me, 'couse I achieved nothing. A lot of hours of searching my problem in Internet and now I know some people think it's nearly impossible to get good FPS during the shaders are on (I mean "good FPS" like over 60), and others think it's normal getting quite a lot FPS. Unfortunately so far Any advice from anyone of all that people haven't solved my problem. I have Windows 10. I installed older drivers (NVIDIA 397.64) of my GPU and I seem to it's slightly better compared to the time, when I had the newest drivers installed. I allocated 3 GB RAM for MC. I have 64b Java. I have my graphic settings optimized, in the control panel and in the game. My OptiFine's settings are not exaggerated. I usually have 50 FPS. However, this value drop below 40. In a shaders' description you can read you should get 55-70 FPS at maximum shaders' level, what was tested with RX 480. Ok, May I should replace my GTX 1080 Ti with that RX.
Hi! I have an idea how to fix this problem. Install even older graphics card drivers. I currently have versions of Nvidia 390.41. Try to install the above mentioned version or 390.65. Use the latest version of OptiFine. Play on the newest shader releases, it's about their adaptation for newer versions. Generally play shaders on newer versions of 1.12, 1.13, 1.14 etc. because they are better optimized there.^_^
