Alright, this is probably a dumb question, but I have an issue. I know how to install singular mods; however, what I don't understand is how to install a modpack into Minecraft. I am trying to install RLCraft, and I have the correct version of forge, and I ran the client, so it loaded all of the folders. Now, I downloaded the latest version of RLCraft from the curse page and unzipped it. I then thought that if I put the unzipped folder into the mods folder, it would load up, but it didn't. It contains an override folder, which then contains other folders (config, mods resources, scripts, and structures). So my question is, how in the world do I download this modpack and play it! I am running on Windows 10 Java edition, and the modpack is based in 1.12.
Change the path of the Game Directory folder in the Profile's setings to the overrides folder.
I tried what you said and went into the profile on the launcher and changed the game directory path so that it's on the overrides folder, but it didn't seem to recognize it, and when I booted up MC, the mod count remained at 4 (the mods that come with the forge profile), and nothing was different. I tried putting the overrides folder within the .minecraft folder instead of in the mods folder to see if that was the issue, but it didn't work as well.
I have started to try more things like seeing if I replace the mods folder in the overrides folder with the one in just .minecraft, but that didn't seem to work as well.

Isn't it available on the Twitch launcher? That's the easiest way to get and run modpacks, they do all the work for you.
