I have been trying to get my custom loot_tables to replace the default loot_tables for a specific world. I have followed many tutorials but most of them only work for mine craft 1.11. The things I have tried are placing my loot_tables into:
saves\<world_name>\data\loot_tables\minecraft
and put my JSON files in correct format (Copied from the 1.14.4 loot_tables) in the specified folders, ie: chests, entities, and gameplay.
I did multiple tests with this method but to make sure the JSON file format was correct I only changed one item dropped from a mob (zombie) to a different item (rotten_flesh -> sand).
After multiple fails I tried to use datapacks by putting my loot_tables into:
also in folder I have the proper MCMETA file. I know the datapack is recognized by minecraft because when I use "/datapack list" it lets me know that vanilla and my datapack are enabled.
I also tried this folder orintation to reflect that way I did it for the data folder section:

None of these methods have worked for me, if you could point me in the right direction for the loot_tables that would be very helpful.
