I have a very laggy Minecraft (with a 32p resourcepack, optifine and the rendering distance set to 2 chunks), and a 6 Gb RAM, so i tried these solutions:
In java's settings> java> view> runtime parameters: first it was empty than I entered "Xmx4096m" and saved, but nothing happened, and the debug screen after restarting Minecraft showed the values shown in the attachment(I subtitled the values that fluctuate).
So I have seen in the launcher setting about the Jvm Arguments, and I found "Xmx1G". Than I changed it to "Xmx4G", and the runtime parameters of java to "Xmx4G", but nothing changed either this time.
Am I doing something wrong?
In the jvm arguments in the launcher settings there are either these arguments:
XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions
XX:+UseG1GC
XX:G1NewSizePercent=20
XX:G1ReservePercent=20
XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50
XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
Maybe I have to change some of these too?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English if there are mistakes.

Left number is currently used memory vs right number is max allocated.
So why only 800 mb /4 gb? My fps are so low!
FPS has nothing to do with RAM, more RAM does NOT mean more FPS, it's a myth. Mc uses as much as it needs. Post a full screenshot with F3 enabled.
