I get at most 120 fps Minecraft both vanilla and modded. Ive played vanilla with optifine, and then modded with up to 300 mods, and still recieve the same amount of fps. I also play other higher demanding games like Destiny 2, and R6 siege and have little to no fps problems. My average fps on Minecraft is id say 70, but, usually drops below 30 every so often. When playing Vanilla I've tried allocating from 2-6 gb of Ram and no change. When playing Modded Ive tried allocating from 5-10 gb of Ram, and still no change. Im at a lost, and if it helps Im also currently struggling with fps for Fortnite if they are in anyway related.
Thank you for reading and any help is also highly appreciated.
120 fps is not low, thats more than is needed, if your system isn't going over 120 hound like you have frames limited or vsync or something limiting them.
Ram allocation has nothing to do with fps, and being able to run other games has nothing to do with minecraft seeing they are normally written properly with a proper gaming engine and not coded in java
It is for me. A month or two ago i would get on average 300-600 fps modded or not. If you read I also dip below 60 fps on average. Its also not the minecraft version either, since ive played back on 1.12 up to 1.14.4 and get low fps on all.
