Hi, I've recently been playing on a friend's realm and have been having a ton of fun. I'm located really far away from all of my friends so I thought I'd make a tunnel in the nether to make transportation faster. I made a minecart trail. Little did I know that there are tons of problems with this method of transportation (not to mention it's slow as all heck). One of the biggest problems I've run into is the fact that I made my tunnel 2 high, meaning that when the minecart is exited, the player stands on top of it, making the player at a height of 3. This forces you through the ground, most of the time ending up in lava and burning to death. However, if you're lucky, you won't burn to death but be stranded on the ground underneath your tunnel. The usual solution to this is building back up to your tunnel and mining your way back inside of it. HOWEVER, if you accidentally exit the game or your game crashes (which mine did) while on the minecart, it forces you through the floor, and when you join back, the game glitches horribly and you are unable to mine any blocks. They just reappear immediately. I guess the game still assumes I am on the minecart, but it forces me off of it and through the floor. SO, I am unfortunately stranded in the nether, unable to mine blocks because they keep reappearing instantly, so I am unable to get back into my 2 x 1 tunnel.
I've tried leaving and joining the realm over and over again, restarting the launcher and rejoining, and yet I have come up with no solution to this problem. As of now, I am effectively unable to play the game. I'd rather not want to kill myself because I am a high level. Any solutions anyone can think of would be helpful to the upmost degree. Thanks for reading this long post!
EDIT: Nevermind, I found out that completely restarting my computer, signing out and back into my minecraft account, restarting the game and rejoining was a solution to this.
