Hello everyone! I host a Minecraft server with a few of my friends that had worked up until a week or so ago. I've obviously port forwarded and have a static IP. I updated my server from 1.14.3 to 1.14.4 as well. My friends are able to join for less than a minute, usually unable to move, as little chunks load in until they are disconnected. Even after the log and/or game mention my friend leaving the game, he can confirm he's still in for around 10 seconds before disconnecting on his end.
On the server log, it gives me either one of these when buddy disconnects the game, usually alternating:
Dragoblast99 lost connection: Disconnected
Dragoblast99 lost connection: Timed out
For him, it gives him one of these after he disconnects, but it changes:
Connection Lost: Timed Out
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Please help or direct me in the direction of help if you can! Thanks!
I'd probably provide the "latest.log" from your friend's end in a pastebin. We need to see what's happening on their end that's causing the disconnect, assuming they are the only one having issues connecting/staying connected.
Vanilla? Spigot?
Any plugins?
I remember that outdated authme did something like this
