I'm working on an adventure map, and I've been constructing a castle in a superflat world. I intend to move it into a survival world. The build is huge, so I've broken it down into smaller structures. Right now, I'm trying to transfer them to a different superflat world for some final tweaks.
The structures work just fine, so long as I stay within the world they were built in.
However, if I try to load them in a different world, the structure block tells me it's not available. The casing is correct, and I can load them in the world I made them in, so I don't think this is a glitch.
Some other info that might be helpful:
I'm using 1.14.4, Vanilla, and I've copied the .nbt files over to the new world's folder, in a folder called "structures".
Am I missing a step, or is this a bug?
If I can avoid using WorldEdit or other mods, I'd love that; Forge has been moody for me lately.
Hey again; still having this problem, even after scouring both the forums and Mojang bug reports. It seems like I'm the only one having this issue, which is annoying, but I really want to resolve this.
I've tried a few other things, none of which seem to have solved the problem, but hopefully someone can help me narrow down what's going on.
I've optimized both the world the structures were built in, and the one I'm trying to import them into. No luck, though given that both are 1.14.4, I don't think that's the problem
I enabled file sharing of the structure file, thinking maybe the new world wasn't able to access the structures folder.
I tried to put down a new command block, thinking maybe the old one wasn't working because it wasn't updated after optimizing. Again, no luck.
I tried only copying one structure at a time into the new world, wondering if it was experiencing a loading problem, no change.
I tried deleting and re-copying the structure file into the new world, in case it wasn't up to date.
I tried enabling cheats in LAN, though that didn't seem like it should affect this either.
I'd really love some assistance; it's pretty much brought my planned adventure map's creation to a complete stop, and made playing minecraft super frustrating for me.
Unfortunately, this has gotten to the point where I'm trying to figure out Forge, because nothing I'm doing in Vanilla seems to work, and I haven't gotten any advice or input, so there's nothing that I can say with certainty I'm doing wrong.
Forge is giving me headaches of its own, but that's an entire other thread.
I'd really hate to have to build this entire structure over again in a survival world, but I worry that's what I'm going to have to do. The point of using structure blocks was so I didn't have to diagram everything out and work out issues as I went, but I really feel lost on this one.
the folder that in the older versions of minecraft called only :"structers", but in 1.14.4 and forword its located inside:"generated" and then "structurs".you just need to copy the:"generated" folder into your new world.

Bumping this again.
