The problem is that even with vsync turned on, screen tear is evident along with the additional mouse acceleration. With my old gpu (gtx 960) i had no issues with it at all running around 500fps with vsync off and it worked smooth. As soon as i upgraded to my amd rx 580, is where the issue arises. The screen tear is evident, even with vsync
Go to Radeon settings and put "Wait for vertical refresh" on "Always active" and enable OpenGL triple buffering.

Screen tear evident in 1.8 but somehow stops in 1.14???

Try updating your AMD drivers.
Try this:
Go to Radeon settings and put "Wait for vertical refresh" on "Always active" and enable OpenGL triple buffering.
Did both, sadly no change what so ever
