Hi - if this is in the wrong place please let me know, and where I can relocate.
So first off, I'm playing in 1.12.2 but modded with Forge 1.12.2-14.23.5.2835. I added 35 mods which at the time, seemed to run smoothly. But I created a new world and found that I kept crashing every 5-10 minutes with the same message on screen saying 'Exception in server tick loop'. I've looked on many forums, and did as they said;
Changed chunk loading in Optifine
Changed versions of Forge (Note: 1.7.10 Forge ran fine)
Updated drivers
But none of that has worked. In the crash-reports and logs, I did see some mods in the logs that required dependencies (Tinkers had Mantle but said it was missing other mods to run 'Skipping Pulse- Missing dependencies'- said there was an error with backpacks, chisel and JurassicCraft('could not retrieve cube' ) - I had run those mods before just fine, but to be safe I got rid of all mods with dependencies to see if that solved the issue - it didn't. I even started to take more mods away and test that world again and again, but it did the same thing with JUST Optifine.
The weird thing, is that just a month ago I played on an earlier version of Forge for 1.12.2 with some of those mods that now make the game crash (but they are still the exact same files, except for the Forge), but now even playing on that earlier version Forge, crashes.
The thing that they all have in common, is the message on the Minecraft launcher when it crashes and the same message at the end of the logs which says
"[11:47:50] [Server thread/INFO] [FML]: The state engine was in incorrect state SERVER_STOPPING and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. Errors may have been discarded.
[11:47:50] [Client thread/INFO] [FML]: Server terminated.
[11:47:50] [Client Shutdown Thread/INFO] [net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer]: Stopping server"
and
"GL info: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread."
What is "OpenGL" and what does it mean by the 'state engine'? Is this an easy fix? Is it worth re-installing Minecraft altogether (I did that earlier this week, so whether it didn't download properly?)
(I have 4GB of RAM allocated to this Forge Version as well)
Post the crash report. Crash reports are found in the crash-reports folder under the .minecraft folder.

Thank you! It doesn't crash anymore which is great, but I did notice that in some Biomes O Plenty biomes, there are these black/purple blocks (missing textures?). They don't just stay there, they multiply. I can break some of them but more keep spawning. Would that just be because I need a newer version? Or is that a sign of conflict between mods?

It is the latest crash-report, but one with a few mods in it.
Update to Forge 14.23.5.2836 or newer.
