First of all, hello to any and all reading this. Not even two months ago, I was able to play Minecraft properly. I would start the launcher, press the "Play" button, the launcher would close, the Minecraft game window would appear, and within a few seconds, the game would load properly. For some reason, however, it just stopped working as it should. I'd start the launcher, I'd press the "play" button, the launcher would close, as it should. However, rather than the Minecraft game window appearing, where it would show the Mojang screen and then load the game, nothing would happen. I would sit there for up to an hour, and all that would happen is me staring at my wallpaper. No Minecraft. If I'd go into the launcher again and press the play button again, a warning stating that the game was already running would appear. I'd start the game anyway, and the same thing would occur; I'd be sitting there indefinitely, waiting on the window to appear, and it wouldn't. This problem has persisted to this day, in every Minecraft version I've tried. From 1.12 to 1.12.2, to 1.13, to 1.13.2. Every single instance has resulted in the same exact problem. I've searched for help regarding my issue, and while I have found some similar problems, none have truly been like mine. I have also tried various methods of fixing this problem. These methods include reinstalling the game itself, reinstalling the launcher, repairing the launcher via the installer, turning the option to keep the launcher up whilst the game is running on, clearing the .minecraft folder entirely and reinstalling it, etc. After many days of trying to fix it, the only progress I had made was getting the Minecraft window to load, only for the window to never load the game, and read the "Not responding" message when I'd click it or try to close it. The only "solution" to this problem I have found is to end a Minecraft Launcher process in my task manager, which prompts the Minecraft window up and allows the game to load. However, even with this "solution", it does not always show the "Minecraft Launcher" process in the task manager, and when I do get the game to load, skins on servers I play on do not load. The textures and maps load, but the skins do not, and will not no matter how long I keep the game running, or even pressing F3+A to refresh. All that I ask is for help to get my installation of Minecraft back to how it was: opening the window after launch, showing the Mojang screen for a few seconds, then loading the game, to which it would properly load all textures, skins and all. I have no idea what to do anymore.

It worked! The game loads without issues, fully loads up, and the skins and everything load as they should. Thank you so much! I'm really thankful for your help.

Done. I let the cleaner run, restarted my comp, etc. I got the prompt saying that "Your cleanup is complete". Now what?
Try mc?
