i have a 16 gb Ram and downloaded Java 64bit. Using twitch launcher and have failed to launch it. My friend runs a server and everyoen but me can join or get it to work. Please help. I got it to run very very jaggged at 700mb but crashed.

So i treid going into the twitch settings for minecraft and changed the launcher to java 64 bit the launcher started, I pressed play it seem to load then close itself. i waited and nothing happened.

As i stated before my friends got it to work but i cannot for some reason thats why im here... >.=.> I am also connecting to my friends server which is 1.7.0 version. All my other friends got it to work but i cannot.

You need 64-bit OS to install 64-bit Java.
I do have a 64-bit Opperating system, x64-based processor

I would like to eriderate that i am using the Twitch app launcher to play the 'regrowth' Mod pack.
(edit: It did not work as the twitch launcher uses the 1.6.91 launcher cause the minecraft version of the HQH pack is 1.7.10)
Also the faq is for the native Mincraft launcher not the Twitch launcher which is the old style.

yes and have tried that but it does this when i try. When i try the native launcher through twitch it doesnt work either

when i switch to native launcher with twitch and press the button to play nothing happens. no launcher at all.
okay stupid question that can be answered tomorrow. How did you get it to work... cause i cant get my twitch to validate minecraft.
or which way do i manualy mod minecraft. iv tried forge but it doesnt come up when i had downloaded it. im confused.
