Java is acting really stupid on my computer i keep getting java heap space because minecraft wants to run in 32bit java my Pc is a 64 bit with 64bit JV ive tried using the launcher to enforce 64bit but it opened a command console. ive tried re installing java and Mc.
if you open task manager on windows 10 it appears that Mc loves to be stuck in 32bit on a 64G computer i don't know what the games problem is but i think microsoft should look into this.

If you're using the built in version of Java, then it should be running 64 bit. If you're looking at the 32 bit Minecraft in your first screenshot, that's just the launcher, not the game, ignore it.
If you want to be sure of the actual version of Java being used, install the latest 64 bit Java from https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp - grab the offline 64 bit version and install it, then change the settings in the Minecraft launcher to use that version of Java instead of the built in version. You will have to tell it manually every time you update java though.
This video explains another way to do it, I've never tried this, so YMMV.
This is NOT a 32 bit Java issue - they were clearly using 64 bit because the crash report said so ("64 bit server VM"), plus they had 3 GB of memory allocated, an impossibility with 32 bit. The real issue appears to have been a lack of swap space, as they only had 400 KB left out of 12 GB - and one of the reasons given by the report was a lack of it; I tried telling them this but they wouldn't listen:
# There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue.
# Native memory allocation (mmap) failed to map 65536 bytes for committing reserved memory.
# Possible reasons:
# The system is out of physical RAM or swap space
# In 32 bit mode, the process size limit was hit
# Possible solutions:
# Reduce memory load on the system
# Increase physical memory or swap space
# Check if swap backing store is full
# Use 64 bit Java on a 64 bit OS
# Decrease Java heap size (-Xmx/-Xms)
# Decrease number of Java threads
# Decrease Java thread stack sizes (-Xss)
# Set larger code cache with -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=
# This output file may be truncated or incomplete.
(this is what their crash report looked like - not your standard "OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" but a JVM crash, hence the lack of any crash reports from the game itself; the JVM itself should have produced an error log with the name "hs_err_pid#" in the game directory)
When I told them that they were out of swap space they just showed a picture of their disk space (as in this thread), which is NOT the same as available physical/virtual memory. Since they were also using most of their available physical RAM I suggested that they close unnecessary programs and background processes as 7 GB of memory usage is a bit excessive for just running Minecraft, seeing that I have no issues with a 32 bit OS with 3.2 GB of memory, of which only around 2 GB is used when playing.

I tried that too it switched back to 32bit on its own

ive tried all of these things i think it is the game becuase my computer has a good memory left to run i think the game is doing this to kick people off of it or its got a problem remembering the ammount of space
It was on that old thread but some jerk reported it and it got deleted there is a 4000 Character limit for some reason
Can you at least post the important parts (the crash message at the top and the system details at the bottom, and your JVM arguments)? You did post it before; if you are able to launch the game at all (as I recall, the crash you posted mentioned allocating memory for a chunk, which can only happen if you were in a world) you should also include a screenshot with F3 enabled (set render distance to the lowest setting before loading a world to minimize crashes). If you can load the game but can't load a world post a screenshot of the snooper (snooper settings on the options menu), which includes the Java version and how much memory is used/available (scroll down until you find them).

Its none of that the only thing thats wrong with it is that the game is refusing to use 64bit the inportaint part is is is the issue with the Game Being Launched! I have tried everything its a Game issue i think Microsoft Needs to look into.

The thread that you changed all your posts to 'deleted' in and then made this thread instead so it was removed as the thread was pointless?
Eitherway, post the log as requested and listen to what people are telling you... the 32bit you are looking at is the launcher, and your own screenshot shows this as it says 'minecraft launcher (32bit)'
If you really want to make sure minecraft runs 64bit java uninstall any 32bit javas you have installed and make sure the 64bit version is selected in the profile in the launcher
Ive Only used 64Bit java ITS MOST Likl the game becuase other people have been having this problem with the game wanting to run in 32bit cuasing crash Microsoft needs to fix this becuase it is the issue with the entire game! i have clicked on 64 bit and it switches back to 32bit even though i have uninstalled it. It is a Global game issue that really microsoft needs to fix becuase now they are the DEVS
My problem is
After a luancher update Stuff got messed up even aplha would not run without external faillure
It runs on 32bit even though its 64bit i uninstalled 32b and it still runs in it The game is most likly having issues detecting which java version to use. The update cracked my game bad its a Microsoft game problem not with my Windows 10 64 bit Pc
Set the path to the 64-bit Java in your profile in the launcher.

Please post your crash report - it definitely said "64 bit server VM" so you were running 64 bit - this is some other issue - as I mentioned before, you were out of swap space (is there any way to un-delete a thread and roll back edits?*). The launcher should not be trying to install 32 bit Java (the entire purpose of the bundled runtime is to ensure you have the correct Java version installed) and this is the version that should be used (it may be "outdated" but this is what Mojang is using to develop the game, I've also heard that it is actually a special version that is not the same as the corresponding version from Oracle).
As mentioned before, if you can launch the game at all (and you could because the crash report you posted mentioned allocating memory for a chunk, so you had to be in a world) post a screenshot of the snooper settings, with the Java version/JVM arguments/memory displayed (scroll down). IIRC, you were also using a modded version of 1.7.10; try using vanilla instead. Here is an example:
(this does not appear to say whether the JVM is 32 or 64 bit but I've been told that the OS architecture that the game reports actually reflects the Java version used, not whether the OS is 32/64 bit. Also, if you can allocate e.g. 2 GB of memory you definitely have 64 bit since 32 bit will fail at some point around 1-1.5 GB)
Try another launcher like MultiMC or wait for a new update or until a solution is found.

and download the one listed under windows alternative, minecraft.exe, not minecraft.msi (which is the new installer) minecraft.exe is the old stand alone launcher, I've seen some windows 10 systems have issues with the new launcher for whatever reason, where the old launcher will work fine. You may have to manually set the java version, as it doesn't come with the bundled Java that the new launcher setup program installs. If you have the latest 64 bit Java installed, the path should be something like this:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_191\bin\javaw.exe
That's on windows 7 but I think it's the same on windows 10.

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
As I keep trying to explain, this is NOT caused by the launcher installing the wrong version of Java - I simply cannot understand why they can't just try launching the game with the default arguments - which should NOT fail regardless of whether it is using 32 bit or not - and provide screenshots of the snooper, or force a crash with F3+C (which should be short enough so they can paste it here; the other report was a JVM hs_err_pid log, most of which was not relevant). I have looked for reports of the launcher downloading the wrong version of Java on the bug tracker but can't find anything at all about this, and indeed, that is exactly why you should use the bundled runtime.
Also, it is a known issue that Java will not work properly if there isn't enough free swap left, even if it isn't even being used, including disabled entirely:
Like I said before, there is no reason to be using nearly all of the available memory and they need to clean their computer (close unnecessary programs and background processes; how can my computer even manage to run with only 3.2 GB of available RAM and 6.4 GB of swap if they are using 7/12 GB?!):
I really feel that they do not really want any help; you do not need to register to upload to Pastebin; just paste in the report and copy the link and paste it here.

I think Microsoft needs to fix this really bad becuase its getting anoying

You can always try the old launcher, go here

and download the one listed under windows alternative, minecraft.exe, not minecraft.msi (which is the new installer) minecraft.exe is the old stand alone launcher, I've seen some windows 10 systems have issues with the new launcher for whatever reason, where the old launcher will work fine.
