Hello all, I am experiencing an issue where if I am in a server or world, and I constantly move through the worlds, then after a minimum of 5 times, my game completely freezes, with my only choice to do anything is to hit Alt+F4 and click on Terminate when my KDE not responding window comes up. This is quite frustrating because I often play on Hypixel and Mineplex, and I can only play a few games before I am suddenly frozen.
After some testing, this happens in single player too. I also appear from other players that I am in the world/lobby, but I am never shown the world and it just keeps its greyed out screen. This greyed out screen will only update once every few minutes and will only make the screen darker.
I am running Fedora 28, with my desktop environment being KDE Plasma 5.13.5
I run a really budget custom pc with an AMD A8-7650k using Radeon R7 Graphics. My internet connection is completely fine during this. No slowdowns or lost packets. Using Oracle Java and not OpenJRE.

Bump.
This is still happening, and my MESA drivers and kernel both have been updated to the latest after they become available.
This also seems to happen on any version, as I've started using 1.8.9 on Hypixel and the issue still remains. If I go on a normal multiplayer survival world, going through dimensions doesn't freeze.

What could cause this issue?
Not sure where to put your blocks? Same.
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
It been awhile since I've last opened minecraft, and completely forgot about this issue.
Now that I am playing again, I am experiencing the issue. However, this time I am running Linux Mint on the Cinnamon Desktop.

The screenshot 1.13.2 Optifine but the same happens for Vanilla.
I don't use any custom JVM arguments, but here are the default ones:

Turn off mipmapping.
It's that simple??
I've been going crazy trying to fix this, having to use the killall command in the terminal to quickly close it and reopen the game.
This seemed to be the solution. Had no idea Mipmapping was enabled to begin with.
Thank you!

Well, it was looking like it was the solution for awhile.
It happens less frequently now but still happens.
Mipmapping is disabled.
