In the 8 hour period minecraft was closed, the client decided to no longer lower the quality of distant textures as much as it did 24 hours ago, despite the fact my settings have remained unchanged. My mipmap level is still at 4, but textures render as if the setting were sitting at 1. How is it possible for the mipmap rendering to become weaker? I run a rather high resolution, realistic texturepack and this issue causes a lot of visual noise on my screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
So far I have:
Manually reset the setting back to 0, and then back to 4 in the notepad settings between launches
Installed the newest build of java
Created a fresh 1.13.1 jar
Switched between 1.13 and 1.13.1 jar files
Restarted the launcher/client more times than I can count
Considered jumping out of my second story window
Restarted my PC
Recreated 3 day old screenshots to make sure I wasn't losing my mind
I'll post the before and after pictures below. Thanks in advance!
